This solid machined aluminum mirror base extender is used to add an aftermarket mirror video display in vehicles such as a Toyota Prius or Highlander.

Some vehicles have a plastic shroud around the base of the mirror that would typically prevent you from being able to replace it with a rear view mirror display.

This base extends the aftermarket mirror out of the shroud 1″ which is just enough to make it look just as good as when the OEM mirror was in its place.
